Fokker DVI Plans

Hi. I am looking for plans for the Fokker D.VI (D6) in 1/3 or 1/4 scale.
I have searched the web and no one seems to have it in this size.
Glen Torrence used to have on. I built his kit many years...

That is similar cabeling to the replica recently built in Valencia that I am modeling mine on.
The one big change they made on the Valencia one is that the motor is mounted further...

Removing CA from hinges

Before installing hinge, fold hing along the hinge line and rub a candle along the edge, fold the oposite way and repeat.
The CA will now not penetrate the hinge line.
Works for me anyway. :D

You could use a FC engine, they normaly have the carbs higher up. If you are flying scale-like there should not be a problem, except when you fill up the tank and leave the model stand for any...

I'm building the same model and thought the same as you, and added 3/8" fillets. As construction continues, it seems that this was not needed as the whole structure seems very rigid.

World SuperStunts 60 Ready for Maiden!

You will love this plane. Will fly in all weathers, it will even fly backwards on a breasy day with crow on, at least it seems lke it does.

Black Horse Bravo 303

Hi,
Just finished assembling the Bravo 303 by Black Horse.
Mounted an SC.91 fs up front.
The book says 125mm from LE for CG.
My 303 is sooo tail heavy.
With this engine it should be nose heavy...

Just built the Cap and it came out nose heavy with an Irvine 53. :confused:

I might move the servos to the tail so that I can use the battery to play with the cg. :rolleyes:
