I was wondering if anyone knows the actual size of full scale turnbuckles used back in the early days. I know all WWI planes did not use them. Im just looking for a size reference.

I guess I did not read close enough, you are talking about the Toni clark reduction, mine is the Schludnt. I believe the Toni clark reduction is a 1.75 to 1.
