RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

I suggest using EXPO.

I have mine set with +35 on all surfaces
smooths it out nicely.

EXPO, like altitude, is your friend too.

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

you have to drill new holes in the fire wall and re-install the blind nuts for the new holes.
The Park 450 and 480 have different bolt patterns.

1300 batteries may be too light. Check the balance before flying.

My plane has a...

RE: Sapac T-45 foam power upgrade needed

Depending on the ESC you choose, you may not need a BEC.
It's only running the motor and 2 servos.

Ithought about trying a 4-cell, but we would have to add weight in the tail to balance the...

Ihave the Extreme Flight 58" Extra 300 (blue &yellow) and it's the best plane in my hanger by far.

Just bought Sapac T45 Goshawk (foam version)

I picked up the receiver ready kit for $180 at a show today. No shipping, no sales tax... I'm happy!
It even came with a 2200mah 3-cell lipo and a el-cheapo charger (that I'll never use) but hey...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

The mount is different. You'll have to drill new holes for the 480
I upgraded mine with a Turnigy 35-36C. It's more than half the price of the 480 and just as powerful if not more so.

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

Use a HS-56 (Karbonite Gear) for the rudder.
My HS-55 plastic gears stripped on a hard landing.
No trouble since putting in the tougher servo on the rudder.

And yes, you will need extentions...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

I'm looking hard at the PA Extra 260... when you say it's very fragile, what kind of problems have you had with it?
What parts tend to crack or break? How does it do on grass landing strips?...
