RE: Classroom Spirit of St. Louis

Thanks for the input fellas. I think I will put two standard servos on the elevator, it is split so I will just put one to each side and a servo on each other surface. I am soliciting ideas for a...

RE: Bike Conversion

Look what I found.

http://www.kingsmotorbikes.com/Engine_Kit1.htm

At $160.00 for a 60cc I think it would be hard to convert one for that price. Can anyone figure what type of motor this...

RE: Spad SuDoKhoi

Build it, you'll love it. If you build it as per Chris' instructons(lighter flight pack) you should have no problem with the 46, maybe even with standard flight pack. I am at 5000' so we need a...

RE: Spad SuDoKhoi

Well, it runs fine and strong on the bench, passes the pinch test but when I get it up in the air it starts to cut out and then stalls. Put it on the bench and it starts right up, take off, cuts...

It came out heavier than Chris' original because I used standard sized servos and a MDS68. All fueled up she weighs 5lb 11oz. The engine (when it runs right) is plenty powerful for unlimited...

RE: Schoolroom Spitfire

Mustangman,

We used 2mm coroplast on the wing. For me it is much easier to work with. If you can not get 2mm I would think that you could build the wing with 4mm. I think if I was using 4 mm...
