RE: EF Yak 110 performance with DA100 and canisters?

That makes sense to me! The extra cost of the muffler system doesn't bother me, Tuned pipes or cans. Your right about the smoothness of a twin............ So with that being said I'll put my order in...

RE: EF Yak 110 performance with DA100 and canisters?

RE: Back to Amsoil?

RE: New Wild Hare Sukhoi ready to fly

My set up on the SUKHOI is a 3W-106cs on cans. Very quite very strong, No balance issues. Lost my cowling on the fifth flight, Wating for a replacment. It's a great combo... I don't think you could...

You are 100% correct, The ring separated from the cowling as clean as can be. The mounting ring has always remained tight and in place. This happened on my fifth flight of the new...

RE: DA 50 or evo 58

I can't compare my T-52 to a EVO-58 I've never owned a EVO. But I can tell you this, The DA-50 and BME-50 that I have flown with has less power than my Taurus all were using the same prop XOAR 23/8....

RE: Air Wild Extras

Very good question! It would be a challenge! I think running a can would make it much easier to do than with a muffler. Even with my Taurus-52 I did not have to place the two battery packs that far...

RE: Air Wild Extras

I've taken a good look at my Air Wild 260 and think it wouldn't be much work to install a can! Plenty of room in IMHO. It appears that both planes are on similar platforms. I Agree with...

RE: airwild extra 260 29% who's got one?

Thank You: I will keep that in mind the next time I order props! My bub's DA-50 really does preform with this prop. Spools up quicker and will just start to rip it straight and level. Whole different...

RE: airwild extra 260 29% who's got one?

I will make sure that I mount the motor (prop hub) at LEAST 1" probably more from the cowling! Also I'll shim the motor mount to neutralize the offset. I'm very excited about this airplane.
So...

RE: airwild extra 260 29% who's got one?

No doubt I'll be picking your brain during the construction (set up) of the SOHKOI. I have read your threads several times. I see no news yet from RTK on the BME-115! That's ok I've got all winter to...
