Thanks for the input on the prop, I ordered a xoar 22x10 and 23x8 today, hopefully have them both for the weekend...Have to say I am really enjoying the YDA 56 once I figured a few things out..Lots...

Wondering about running a 23x8 xoar prop on my YDA 56?, I have the engine mounted on a GP Ultimate biplane and have been running a xoar 22x8 for the break in... would a 22x10 or 23x8 be a better...

I am fairly new at this,but I had a rcgf 45 doing the samething.....In my case I had the highend needle set to lean...once I richen it up it went from poping to running.....Mark

I have a airplane filter on my fuel can and one between my carb and tank......Think I will take your advise and change the one going to the carb......Thanks Mark

I had success tonight, I think the engine got wind it was going to become a paper weight..not sure what the fix was, I pulled the carb apart and blew it out, new fuel lines,rerouted the fuel lines,...

Keep going over everything, The only difference I can come up with between my engine stand and the plane is the engine sits on the stand level "inverted too" , On the plane the engine is tilted back,...

fuel tank from the plane worked fine on the test stand....wondering if I used a smaller diameter fuel line from the tank to the carb if it would make any difference? Also I will pull carb and check...

center line of tank to center of carb is roughly 3 inchs in plane...center line of tank on stand to center of carb 1/2 inch...just mounted
engine for 3rd time on stand fired right up....runs...

tank sits 2 1/2 inchs lower in the plane...have both my needle valves at 1 1/2 turns

Filled up the tank twice and pumped it out from the carb fuel line, no bubbles.... attempted to start it again with engine mounted on the plane...samething engine pops and sputters, runs for a...

already pluggged battery directly into ignition....still wouldnt run....I will try drawing fuel out of the fuel line that feeds the carb...so if the tank is working correctly I shouldnt see any...
