1/8 buggy handleing and speed

Hey guys. I have a werewolf 1/8 buggy that I have modified with a 1512 castle 25/44 drive/spur gears 21volts, foam wheels and lots of other stuff. It has gone a best of 94mph with the Eagle Tree data...

Your .150 will be fine and try and leave your stuffing tube in. Try the 442 prop .you might be happy you did. Make sure you detunge it to take he load off. That prop will run in the 50+ range.

Well i shimmed engine up a tad but i also shaved flywheel alittle on the big end and never had a problem. Thats a pretty fat flywheel they put on there LOL.

It flipped. At those speeds im playing the cat and mouse game. The boat will get airborn with the slightest ripple in the water. It just whent 82 this weekend ......i was hoping for closer to 88-90...

aaron Sean is right ...go with the Andy Brown pipe. I used his muffeld version and it worked great with a x442 prop and the VZM engine. You WILL go faster on calm water dont worry. Here is a video...

No i did not. I did cut the rudder way down and cut the turn fin as well though.If you get above 60 mph than you need sponson mods. I learned this with my Vegas when i switched to electric.

I used the stock motor mounts and .150 cable with a x442 prop worked over. It is a very easy swap and will run well for you.Here is a vid running low 50sbut it would go...

I tried the smaller props ...x440,x442 and 3 blade and the boat would only muster a 48-51 between all of them.....not that that is slow but thats all she had.

Ryan i cut the prop down a tad to reduce the size ...it was pretty big. As far as "Give it a toss" ......man i was throwing this boat in with all i had and it still just screamed with no speed. Gps...

Tried the 2047 prop that was used on the fastest run for the U1 and i could not get her to plain at all. Shallow or deep... didnt work it would just cavitate. I had my hopes up for that prop but it...
