My bet is on interference. Placing the motor wires far away from the antenna may help, make sure you are not flying near walls and similar solid obstacles. These can shoot you down even if you are 5...

With such many coils, the helicopter won't fall if one fails and I bet that the black winding is already out of work. I'd personally change the motor right away.

I regularly use the 3-cell 11.1V battery in my Blade CX and it works great. I have never burnt anything. The differences are:
