Hanger Rash/Camera/Receiver Battery/Sky-writing

I use both 1800 and 1100 mAH, depends on what I need to do to balance the C of G. Might as well have useable ballast. I'm usually worn out before my battery packs.

Only my mother calls me 'David'. My wife calls me Dipsy, something to do with me resembling a 'Teletubby'!!!!

F-4 Flaperons

Has anyone put flaperons on a Lanier/Ripmax ARTF F-4 Phantom. I've put in seperate aileron servo's, but can't decide whether to dial in flaperons, or cut some aileron away and have seperate flaps.

B1-B Rockwell Bomber

My buddy ( Andy Johnson in the above link) in the US is working on a 1/12 scale B1-b kit. If it works out I'll be selling the kit in the UK for him. Let me know if you are interested.

Prop Jets???

I made the mistake of covering a model in midnight blue solar film. I had no idea which way it was going.

Prop Jets???

I've seen that jet here at RAF Benson when it visited. I think the model would be a nightmare to see in those colours.

Prop Jets???

Go ahead. I'm thinking of painting it in Royal Navy (FRADU) colours or ETPS rasberry ripple colours. My previous Hunter was done in ETPS colours.

So what do you really like about ARTF's?

I like them coz I'm less gutted after crashing in to goal post on my 3rd flight like I did with my Hawker Hunter that took a year to build. Did it at the Rover factory in Cowley, you anywhere near...

Has anyone bought a VMAR ARF airplane

I learned to fly using the Apache II, yes the finish was crap, engine mount was junk and the tail was a nightmare to 'fit'.
For learning it was a fantastic flyer, big, stable and easy to land.

Flair Corsair

I'm thinking about buying the Flair F4U. Whats the general concensus of opinion on this model, good or bad? Is there a more scale ARF Corsair available ?

Many thanks
