The normal pratice is that the motors and hence props rotate in opposite directions, viewed from astern the port rotates anti clockwise and and starboard clockwise. ie both upwards in the centre....

Are you trying to make hydofoil or a jet ski? With a hydrofoil the problem will be getting a water supply to your pump when the boat lifts up on the foils! Suggest you look at these sites...
