Sounds simple enough. I'm sure I won't have any trouble finding ScotchBrite pads. One more question: Do I still apply a primer coat? If so, how many coats?

Is this problem specific to the the 7C? I have a 6EX 2.4 system and was not aware of nor have I experienced any such problems.
