I tried to install a MSR swashplate on my MCX on the advice of a friend but is won't slide onto the outer shaft. Do I need to remove the metal bearing from the MSR swashplate to get it to fit? Or...

RE: How much longer will 72mhz be around?

I don't know where you get the idea that the FCC 'has never been happy' and '72 band "wasted" ' by the modelers. The FCC agreed to allow modelers use a section of 72Mhz, narrow band. The advent...

MCX drifts backwards

And it has very little forward movement. What adjustment will make it hover in one place and also have forward movement?

RE: Request for a review of several radio systems or best bang for my buck.

I disagree here....A refined, well built, openly flexible in user features SLR with interchangable lenses, cost as much and in deed more than most of the Tx systems available today. Or are you...

RE: Antenna question

Why take a chance with tape from audio cassette? Use a length of ribbon instead like the red 72Mhz ribbon used in the old days of FM.

RE: Request for a review of several radio systems or best bang for my buck.

You said it all yourself....it's a personal choice of how the TX feels in a person's hands. All the big manufacturers make very fine radios with plenty of features. To rate them #1, 2 or 3 is just...

RE: How much longer will 72mhz be around?

I think there are alot more years than just '5 tops', of life with 72mhz. Radio South will continue to service and repair 72 mhz gear. Willaims Brothers stopped making pinball machines about ten...

RE: compatable receivers?

You got me on this one. I'm not sure what you are asking. 35mhz in England has channels that are of a specific frequency just like 72 mhz in the USA.

A synthisized RX on 35mhz with...

RE: Return to flying-radio input: Airtronics RDS8000, Futaba 7C or Spektrum DX7

If you are a good flyer, even if you are alittle rusty, ask some of your club freinds if you can take over the controls of their planes to get the feel of the TX they use.

Buying what the...
