RE: Thunder Tiger four-stroke

I've got a problem with my TT54, ever since I got it back from repair, it will trow the prop. There could be a shim missing or the timing could be off. Unfortunately, I don't have the manual anymore...

RE: Saito 72 vs. O.S. 70 Surpass

I really like these discussions.

At the end of the day I feel that one can get lucky or unlucky with any brand. I run most of the traditional and the newer brands of 4-strokes and had extremely...

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

Hi there,

I wonder if I qualify :-)

I've bought the old .40 and .45 in the 80ties, when Tower was still carrying Saito. The .40 is still in a 72" Krick-Klemm 25 and flown occasionally, the...

RE: Thunder Tiger engines

W8ye,

No, I had given up after fiddling with the engine unsuccessfully and actually had planned to return it to TT since I had just gotten it back. Somehow I just put it in a box and forgot...

RE: Thunder Tiger engines

Thanks All,

I think a missing head gasket may be the issue, since I had checked the timing already at the time and it seemed OK. Do you know how thick and what material the head gasket would be,...

I've got one of the early models (without flaps). It flies really scale on my Saito 1.80 with a 16X8.

RE: Got a Rossi? Hold on to it.

Sahak,

Is Rossi still producing the 105 DF engine?
If so, what is the cost including pipe and what Fan is recommended to get to the advertised rpm's?

Thanks,

Jurgen

RE: Magnum 52RFS 4-stroke

Hi RC-Fan,

I recommend the Magnum .52 4cycle without hesitation. My .52 is flying a (Seagull?) Spacewalker ARF for 2 years now without any issues. I like it so much, that I bought a second one...

RE: World mocels ME 109 ????

There was a Modeltech .40 size ME109 ARF available at Hobby People for some time. Looked exactly like the Global .25, yellow cowl and all. I used to have one, with a Webra .50 speed in it and it was...

Hi Gary,

Thanks for posting the thread, great pictures.

I planned to go DF and then the engines disappeared. I hope OS will really put out another run of their 91's, since twin turbines...

RE: Messerschmitt Me-262A

Grbaker,

Here is the description, but I don't know if this is still available. I got it from Joseph Saitta in Florida [email protected]. It seems he made molds and was cutting kits as requested....

RE: My F-16

Jackjet,

Do you mean one elevator servo (~100oz?) working both halves or one each for both sides, tugged into the sides of the fuse?

Thanks

It appears the Rossi 105 is currently the only available "90-size" DF engine. There have been several postings about 3rd party experiences with that engine.
Is someone out there really...
