I have three FA80T's and 2 FA90T's which have the rods on the same crankpin, ala harley davidson, so the pistons move in the same direction. They are very smooth running and have little vibration....

The most you would probably have to do is replace the bearings. There isn't much else that can go wrong unless it is physically broken.

To continue. Every "sealed" bearing I have seen in a model airplane engine (and that is a fairly large number) will leak fuel through it....

They won't. If you squirt oil into the breather it will come out the front bearing. And NSK aren't cheap bearings. Mine last for years. The only failures I've had are from rust and that's MY fault.
