that radio is an excellent unit, the case and programming software are the same as the original DX6 just that the dx6 has orange nobby things and a different emitter deck. I have three of these...

I was going to suggest that if you remember how to program the jr 347/388 and 8103 era radios pick up one of them used, the 8103 has a programming menu that is very similar to the spektrum dx 7, ...
