RE: Front Brake Kits for Thunder Tiger Nitro

It'll be hard to find a set that look as good as Pat's brakes, but functionally I've heard it's hard to beat the KP brakes.

RE: Air filter on Thunder Tiger Ducati

Here's what I'm using. Fits just right and you don't have to worry about the sponge coming un-glued.

RE: speedo

Nothing against the Kyosho bikes (I've got two myself), but if your budget is around $200 you may want to consider getting the Venom bike instead. It come ready to run, so you don't have to piece...

RE: need help buying a bike

Yeah, it's difficult to find a LHS that carries parts and hop ups for r/c bikes, but I've never had any problems getting anything. You should have no problem getting whatever you need online. ...

RE: how to take out the front wheel ?????

After you take out the first screw, slide the spacer off of that side of the wheel. Now grab the axle with some pliers and hold is still as you unscrew the other side.

RE: Feigo motors.

Yeah, everything gets hot. :D Sometimes too hot. It usually doesn't have problems if I run on a large track or wide open area, but on a tight track or small area, it'll occasionally shut down. I'm...

RE: Feigo motors.

I've got the Warrior 7720 and Fegaio 380C 7T in my Stampede. Works very well. I run it on gp3300s or cheap 3000s and have no problems with cogging.

I'd seriously consider the Mamba Max. ...

RE: I might buy a HL pershing

Well, I got it from Zhobby and they list a Pershing and a Snow Leopard. I ordered the Snow Leopard. I not sure if there's any real diffrence between the two, though.

RE: I might buy a HL pershing

My HL came in perfect working order. I've had it for almost 2 months and it's still working 100%. I don't use the smoke much because it's just too messy when filling. The gun does "jam" every once...

RE: Decisions, decisions....

I'm with Brimauster, why not consider a HL 1/16? My brother and I both have a smoke and sound one. He has Tiger and I have the Snow Leopard and we've had no problems with either. You said that it...

RE: Nikko Ducati

It's not a knock off of the Kyosho. The Nikko is a 1/5 scale bike, Kyosho is 1/8. From what I've heard, it makes a nice shelf model that seconds as an R/C vehicle. I don't think I would get it if...

RE: I want to try my luck with tanks

Yes, after turning it on you must push the first button on at bottom (left of "G") to start. The lights will then stop blinking and you'll hear the engine sound (if you have the sound turn up). I...

RE: I want to try my luck with tanks

Unless you're set on 1/24 scale, take a look at the Hen Long 1/16 scales tanks. They can be had for about $75. The have sound and smoke in addition to firing bb's. Some have had qualitiy issue...

RE: Some battery help

Well they say they have a 100% money back gaurantee if they don't test at least 1.18 on your equipment. So I guess you could get your money back if you want.

I'm actually considering getting a...

RE: Bypass the esc with another battery pack?

Wouldn't this "electric boost pack" also be dangerous your main battery pack? Wouldn't the imtermittent addition of volts increase the chance of overdischarging the main pack?

RE: What are your thoughts on the Tamiya Blackfoot Extreme.

Have you looked at the Traxxas Stampede? I bought one for the same reasons you're looking for. IMO, a great basher for well below $200.

RE: Tamiya R/C Williams F1 BMW 4WD Kit

I'm not familiar with the size of a BL setup, but I can say there isn't alot of room on the stock F201 chassis. With a brushed set up, you pretty much need to find the smallest esc and receiver out...

RE: one of the best

I think it all depends on what you plan to do with it. If want to race, get the car that they race in your area even if it isn't the best car out there. There's usually always a class for the HPI...
