Yes, flying fields are at a premium here in Florida.
That's one of the the reasons I got out of it years ago when all the plastic planes started showing up along with working 50 or 60 hours a week....

Back in the early 80s we had a tail dragger big stick with a Quadra on it, talk about a floater.
The little one with a TD051 had many hours at the local schoolyard, Kraft kps4 and 3 kps 10 servos.

I think part of the problem is they have gotton so expensive (magazines).
I also think another part of the kids problem is that local schoolyard flying is very scarce...
