I am a victim of this scam too. I purchased a unit at RCX long beach on 04/29/12 brought it home and charged it. Plugged it in and one motor is fried. I took a video of this and emailed them 8 times...

The only guys really making quarterscale today are nascar and drags. One gentleman is building some really nice cars and has them available in viper and ferrari models.

Probably thinking of RCX here in southern california. Its a pretty large show. I dont think its a big as it was in the late 80' / early 90's in pasadena. But still respectable.
