I just broke a piece of the piston on my TT 39 Engine, Is it very hard to change and is it worth the trouble. The head has a small ding in it , but the cylinder wall looks good.

I have a TT 39 , it runs hot or wah wah I did a lot of reading about engine settings. I set it to factory. 2 1/8 low and 3 on high I have made small adjustments ,but I cant get the temp low...

Thank you Woofdog, This clears up everything, My tail rotor and belt was installed wrong, according to this picture. This is probably why I crashed the second time.

Does it really matter which way the belt is twisted ,.on to the main gear. as long as the tailrotor blade turns up into the main rotor blade rotor wash. Am I correct in assuming this?

yea I have my low end needle set at about 1 3/4 open and the high end 2 1/2 turns open and it runs great. try the settings and if it doesnt run good, just adjust the low end needle slightly

Nexus Starter Shaft Problem

I have a nexus 30.
The Pin at the lower part of the starter shaft, near the clutch, keeps shearing. It shears after about every 10 starts. Help please :confused:
