RE: Honking Hummer is Huge Hit

Actually, I did post information about my Hummer on the speed forum. I called it the world's fastest Hummer. Only a few replies though. I launch it at a 45 degree angle and it takes off like a...

RE: Honking Hummer is Huge Hit

Hello, I love my Hummer. It is such a stable airframe even though mine is nose heavy and very overweight with a .15 up front. The engine is a typhoon bought on E-Bay. After rebuilding and...

RE: Need OS 1.08/90 carb! for MDS 1.48

Hobbsy,
Are you saying that the 2.18 carb works better than the C-2 1.48 carb? I will certainly give that a try if Horizon will send me one cheap. I will aslo try the 5% fuel.
Thanks

RE: Need OS 1.08/90 carb! for MDS 1.48

Plug is a H-9 4-stroke superplug, fuel is 10% coolpower, prop is an APC 16/8 and 18/6W. I have tried the pinch test. I have run every combination of low end needle/high end needle mixture settings....

Need OS 1.08/90 carb! for MDS 1.48

OK, I have reached my limit with my MDS 1.48. It now has a gallon and a half of fuel through it. Like many others posting about this engine, it starts well and runs great on the ground. During...

RE: Extreme Projeti

If you look under the Russian engines section, it is described in the paragraph at the top. If you scroll down the engine does not show up any more. I do not know why. Call Ed Carlson and he can...

RE: Extreme Projeti

Dan, You mentioned that a light .15 would be a better choice and I agree. The conquest is certainly a great engine but a little heavy I think. I wish I had the exact weight. I bought a Russian...

RE: Favorite 15 size engine

I have a Russian typhoon .15. It is the lightest .15 I have seen and turns a 6-4 apc at around 27,000 rpm on the ground. It easily unloads in the air to over 30,000. I did modify this engine...

I too am looking for a good 30 to 36 size engine for an EZ Reno racer. I have a TT 36 with a Tuned pipe at the present. How much improvement can I expect from the pipe (Macs)? I am thinking about...

RE: <span class=

Finally, I have flown my Katana. Due to high winds, I took it easy with my first flight. Took off effortlessly at 2/3 throttle. Flies great and is real stable a low speeds. The mds 1.48 has plenty...

Engine for Carl golderg Extreme 330

I have not tried a Tiger Shark .52 but have heard that they are a stronger running engine than the OS .46, the same size/weight and at $80.00 is inexpensive. I plan to buy one for my next .40 size...
