Well ordinary table salt is inorganic ... and within reason is easily disposed of as required. CA is organic, which of course simply means it contains carbon.

Thanks v much Colin: I'm not sure the same gear available "down under" is available here: but I think I'll invest in a decent cycler. What d'you think of a load voltmeter - useful or not?

Am flying a trainer on average a couple of times a week with a superb instructor - ah the joys of retirement!. I charge both rx and tx batteries overnight each time. Is this overkill? Is it damaging...

The measurement is from the LE at the tip - sorry about that.

Don't recognise that mount. The orignal sig mount was a 3" 2-piece aluminum thing - now is changed to glass filled nylon, I imagine...

Tommy: here's the "book" balance/throw stuff: balance 1/2" back from LE, to 3/4" if it won't spin well. Further back than 1" not recommended for non-experts - definitely includes me!

thanks - but their website suggests they only make it medium or thick. I'm told that won't wick properly along the CA hinges.

Thanks: I have plenty of Gorilla left over from sheeting the cores - and regular hinges. Maybe that's the way to go.
I did get through to Sig by the way - they make a thin ca that is safe...

The aileron hinges must extend into the foam core at the TE. Only thin CA will wick properly - so will it eat the foam a bit if CA hinges are used? Or is there a thin odorless CA?

Thanks to all for the good advice. I went with 5 min epoxy on the grounds that a) my wife was willing to help hold the thing, and b) the quick cure actually seemed to reduce the chance of things...
