Someone wrote in that he had put McCoy 59's in his and it worked much better. I would definitely fatten it up first though. Be careful with the pull start as well. Be kinda hard to start if the glo...

Adeoliver, Sorry about the the other thread. I thought only the newer maxxes had the easy start on the post. I wasn't trying to start a fight, just uninformed and a really small pic

T-maxx is on its way!

It looks just like my 2.5. I think the pull start is the way to go. Or the drill start.

T-maxx is on its way!

That looks like the new one to me. They pulled the easy start out and that's what is sitting in front. It has the starter plug up on the rear shock tower which I believe is done only on the 2.5'ers. ...

How to start C5 ???

I just got an alloy Tmaxx with a big fat C5 in 'er. I have the old Ofna starter box that came with it but once it gets stuck in TDC, forget it. I'm powering the box off a car battery now for extra...

Hot bodies Roto-start html for .26

Another tip!

http://www.ofna.com/rotostart.html

Rumor is that Ofna should have their own Roto start for the .26 in a couple of weeks

does jamara roto start fit picco .26

Hey David,

My IHS says that Ofna should have their roto-start available soon (next couple of weeks). If you can't wait, here is a link about using a 10th scale wheel nut to take up the slack.

Force pull start for .26

My pull start broke after a couple of tanks of gas. I was sure not to over extend it but this motor has a lot of compression and it tore the plastic that holds the string right off of the spool. My...

does jamara roto start fit picco .26

Guy at Ofna said it would work on the .25 but not the .26. I am inclined to belive him since my LHS sold me a force pull start and it failed after 2 starts.

OFNA Titan Deluxe Questions!!!

I almost bought that truck RTR. Nice piece. I got the .26 and it is a beast. With the right gearing you should be able to make it fly. The pull start sucks though. Mine broke after about 30 pulls...

Roto start work on Picco .26

Talked to Ofna today. Says not to use roto start unless you have the force .25 motor. The pull start is the .21 sport that is a drop in. Says drill start, no problem. ;)

Roto start work on Picco .26

Hi Waverave,

Why would it mess up the one way? Would it do the same to the stock motor? My buddy's been using one on his Stampede with excellent results.

Thanks

Roto start work on Picco .26

Does the new HPI starter work on the .26? I can't even find the pull start in the shops yet and the Ofna force .25 sure doesn't work (for more than once anyway).

Best shocks for T Maxx?

I am getting tired of repairing and replacing my stock shocks every day I run. Any input on the best bang for the buck? Are the big bores worth consideration?

Thanks
