Called the vendor and they mentioned that the reason the affected radios need to be taken in when dealing with the 6000 series receivers is that the transmission interval must be slower for those...

Yes, range test was performed by a senior member of the club by using the DX8 radio function that cuts power ...

The engine was a G23 magneto ... no power required.

Honestly,

I love the DX8 eventhough this happened to me ... The battery was a 4-cell 4.8V 2300mAh and the voltage was good when I checked it after the crash. I got a 5.14V with load on it...

I am quite certain they will repair the radio and possibly give me a new receiver. I don't believe they would do anything about the plane ... There would be too many claims all...

We bought both the Hangar 9 AT6 with a Saito 100 and the P47 with another Saito 100.

Thanks for the quick reply. The glow plug was in the engine ... and it took 20-30 turns to feel ANY compression.

The seller had the same engine in a Hangar 9 AT6 and it had more compression than...

Dear folks,

A quick question without having access to the plane as we speak.

I turned the prop counter-clockwise for about 20-30 revolutions by hand and there was NO compression on the engine....
