RE: Miraculous Save!

nitrobasher,
I'd say that the Ucando would be a very good second plane. I wish I could have had this plane as a trainer! My trainer was way harder to fly than my Ucando 60 size!

FHHuber's advice is very sound! Try for Hobby-Lobby, they will set you up with virtually everything you will need. They've got some very good beginners/small flight area planes.
Good luck,...

RE: Flying in cold temps. How cold is to cold?

Trailing,
Plexiglass probably sounds like a pretty good idea but it would be nearly impossible to keep it from frosting up and making any visibility out impossible. Heating it would probably only...

Flying in cold temps. How cold is to cold?

I'm curious, how cold is to cold. It was -2F degrees today. Obviously too cold as my poor little .61 Thunder Tiger didn't turn over well and would not draw fuel into the carb. I dabbled a little...

RE: I Crashed my brand new airplane!!!

Madd Dogg,
Your trainer looks very simular to my Graupner trainer that did a nose in on asphault. I don't remember it bouncing though. It just scattered.
$99.00 later I'm ready to go again I...

RE: Freak signal causing crash?

patternwannabee,
Excellent info on the loaded ESV's, battery charging discharging etc. I'll check the ESV's out online at the Tower.
Not sure about pinning down the problem, I'll have to...

RE: Freak signal causing crash?

patternwannabee,
There was no glitching, everything went to full and as far as I could tell that is where it stayed. One quick maneuver into the ground.
Sorry I'm not following the loaded ESV or...

RE: Freak signal causing crash?

Kiwi Pete,
Rx aerial exited the fus behind the wing out to the tip of the tail. Metal to metal, I don't think so, everything was wrapped in foam and servos were screwed down with the rubber...

RE: Freak signal causing crash?

Tall Paul,
Reciever battery was my first check after the crash, I had just recharged it a couple hours before flying. Measured the volts after the crash and they were fine. The receiver was brand...

RE: Freak signal causing crash?

It's amazing the damage a plane can do to itself. I can only imagine what it would do to a car, plane or person!
Lets hear it for insurance and flying away from anything.
