Evader ST, what parts would I want for racing?

Those packs would probably work well for stock racing. As I said, you would want 2400+ for mod. It would also be wonderful for stock.

By the way, where are you getting 2400 cells for 2.00? I...

Evader ST, what parts would I want for racing?

The more MAH a battery has, the longer run times you will get from it. For stock racing just about anything will work. But for mod racing, those 1500mah packs won't cut it. You need 2400mah+ for...

Evader ST, what parts would I want for racing?

The best thing to do would be to use deans connectors to connect each motor to each speed control. Then, you could very easily change them for whatever you wanted to do.

Evader ST, what parts would I want for racing?

It depends on what class you want to race. Stock class is more equal and slower (less money is needed.) Mod class is much faster and you need more money (lots of crashes, and a more expensive ESC...

Evader ST, what parts would I want for racing?

If you want to race mod for very cheap, I would recommend a cheap ESC (the Duratrax Streak is a good forward only ESC for the price, and accepts as low as 12 turns). They you could get a low cost...

How do you dye dyeable rims?

The Yarn should absorb the die, so there shouldn't be a white line. I think this is the purpose for using yarn.

Antenna / Transponder Mount

I have an internal antenna made of of LEXAN. I have experienced no signal loss so far. But that looks interesting since I currently don't have a good transponder mount. Try it!

Okay, I tried the butane torch. It didn't work for me - resulted in a black pinion, and a burned thumb. LOL (I touched it before it was cool). Then, I stuck it in a vice and lightly hit the shaft...
