It sounds like you one-way in your 2-speed housing might be sliping. If it revs up high then all of a sudden kicks and takes off, your one-way is going out. You can take a out and clean it to get...

Shrink wrap is the way to go. I had the same problem with my RC10GT2. No matter how tight the screw was, the pin would fall out.

Just get the regular OS TZ .12 motor. The Speed Tuned version might be a bit of an over-kill rightnow. Thats more for Series racing.

The JR XS3 is a real good buy. I've had mine for over 2 years and I used that same radio for every r/c thing I owned. The servos, that it came with are still operational in my NTC3.

I went the RTR route just because I wanted to enjoy the R/C experience right-o-way. And it was my 1st car, but I think the next onroad I buy will be kit since I know a lot more about them.

Any big-block pull start motor should work. I have the Dynamite Conversion kit with the OS .21 RG (P)X with is a pull-start. Now be ready to upgrade your diffs and transmission to metal parts...

It 's a pain to replace the rear bulk-heads. It's a lot easyer just to remove the rear end. Now I might as well redue the shocks.
