Hi Flyboy, when did you go to Comair? I too went to Comair back in 1991. Left 7 months and 3 weeks later with all my ratings. I too did not want to instruct there making $8.00 an hour/flight...

start shaft pin

make sure you are using a starter wand with a one way bearing and not a solid shart shaft (such as used with the raptor).

I have broken many shafts also, but all related to using the wrong starter...

Alright Mig29, you've been holding out on me :D , I see you have the push/pull elevator with the tail rotor servo in the stock location.

The link to K&B Machining seems to be dead (I would imagine it is temporary)

These links have ball links on either side (no bearings)

I thought that these would be beefy enough after cutting...

pedals

Hi Spurry, the rudder pedals are at the bottom, they have 6 squares cut into each one.

The yoke took a few flights to get used to, the Hawker's also have a similiar yoke.

I'd love to try the push/pull elevator, however, I run my tail rotor servo's in the stock location (personal preference) and I do not think the push/pull will work with it there.
