$100 to $200 Charger for Racing?

Like the topic says, gettin back into 12th scale after racing nitro this summer and Im looking to pick up a new charger. I have a powersupply so thats not an issue, just looking for something...

definitly DO NOT put water in it, that would defeat the whole point of denatured alchohol(having 0 water so things dont rust because of it)

read what I posted earlier, remember that 1/10 applies to all dimensions and that weight is tied in to volume, volume is a cubic dimension. (therefore weight would 1000 times more, not 10 time)

personally Id say for basing the tmaxx or savage would be better, if you plan on doing more racing the ntc3 might be better for you.

actually scale weight should be closer to 8000 lbs

remember its 1/10 on all dimensions, height, weight, and width, so the overal volume is 10x10x10 bigger so the weight would be roughly 1000 times...

cool, I also will be looking at a new engine for my terracrusher in the next month or two and a fantom .18 would be pretty sweet, and hopefully cheaper than the sirio .18

biggest problem with your plan is how much more the dual engine car would way.

Plus how high you'd have to gear it, unless you know people that can make custom gears for you its gonna be tough.

Probably just meant you were way off before, I know my used mt12 engine was a turn or two off on both high and low from the original owners settings, though 2000+ extra feet of altitude and switch in...

I think the last tip is correct, if its rich the fuel is already in there when you pinch the line, therefore it runs longer. If its lean theres less fuel therefore it dies quicker.
