t-maxx tuned pipe

I replaced mine with the CVEC z800. It works great, looks great, and to top it off, it converts yout tmaxx to rear exhaust (no more cleaning that danged gunk off your truck and tire!).

I am...

The truth about the t maxx.

I have to say the t-maxx is a hell of a truck! I love mine. All the parts I have replaced have been by choice, I have yet to break anything.

I'd rather this not turn into a "which truck is...

Out of Curiousity...how do you guys clean your Nitro Trucks

n00b mistake (receiver antenna wire)

What I am afraid of is that, if I remember correctly from electronics class a long time ago, the antenna has a length such that it resonates to the specific frequency it's supposed to receive. If...

n00b mistake (receiver antenna wire)

You are right I could solder it, but it now looks like crap, and is still glued to the tube. I'd rather put it in new. I already bought the tube and cap, what I need is the wire.

Here I go! (Tmaxx2.5 + XTM .21 Conv + Picco .26)

You got a good point. I have been thinking exactly the same thing: I have a pretty darn good stock t-maxx right now, maybe I should re-sell the XTM conv kit (have not opened it yet) and spring for...

worst r/c story. Tell me yours!?????

Sorry for the comment, maybe I should not have said anything. I'm just pissed about some of the behavior I see sometimes ("let's see how much damage we can do").

Of course I do not have the whole...

n00b mistake (receiver antenna wire)

All right, I'll go ahead and call myself an idiot for having done this (I'll save you guys the trouble!): I went ahead and glued the extra receiver antenna wire to the outside of the antenna tube on...

Here I go! (Tmaxx2.5 + XTM .21 Conv + Picco .26)

Thanks for all your tips. I will go ahead with the .26 engine, mainly because I'm really pissed I purchased a 2.5 maxx without learning about the bigger engine trucks out there, and I will not be...

worst r/c story. Tell me yours!?????

Don't mean to sound my age, but that kind of stuff is the reason many people don't want to allow RCing in their properties (or the parks they oversee).

There's a park around here (that has great...

Here I go! (Tmaxx2.5 + XTM .21 Conv + Picco .26)

Well, finally I have taken the big step and ordered the XTM .21 Coversion Kit plus the powerful .26 OFNA Picco engine :D .

Is there anything I should watch out for, or anything else I will need to...

new idea for a simulated boost? maybe...

Someone around here attached a model rocket engine to a t-maxx to give it that speed burst we all long to have. They had videos of it somewhere...

Thunder Tiger

Yes it looks great, but is that the .70 engine? How does it handle? Do you have a pic of it in action?

I don;t know if there is an IKEA furniture store near you guys, but a great secret is that they have their own alkaline battery brand and they sell them for $1.00 for 10 of them (!!!!!).

Thanks!

Thanks for the info, I have just purchased my CVEC!!!!

It seems, from what I have read, that the z700 first came out, then was replaced by the z800. I have no idea what the difference is, but...

Hello people!

I want to know how the HECK I can buy a CVEC tuned pipe for my 2.5 TMAXX (I hear the latest and greatest rear-exhaust CVEC is the z800). I cannot, however, find ANY online dealer...
