The problem with tape or velcro is that the surface area I have to stick to is likely too small. The battery is a Kokam 1500mah LiPo and it slides in sideways, meaning the only place I could put...

The EXACT same thing happened to me too. It crashed my X-cell 60. Fortunately, the damage was light. But to have a crash from a switch failure is pathetic. Espescially when it's a "high end"...
