Still one awesome flyer. The OS 1.60 is still the right combo for this plane IMO. I had a dead stick yesterday and had to ditch in a soya bean field. The plane stalled...

Ok Guys....I maidened my Yak today about 12:30 pm.
I took my time and broke in my OS 1.60 on the ground. 3/4 gl of fuel then tweaked the engine for performance. 1600 rpm low and 8600rpm high...

Ok guys...success:D with the setup I have in the pics. This is one awesome running engine on the ground. At 4000 rpm it's a task to hold back the plane.

Ok guys...these are pic of the modifications from the advise I got from everyone. I blocked one-side of the muffler to increase pressure to the fuel tank...I left a drain hole to drain off excess...

Rain both days....got to the field ...drizzle. Waited for awhile then came home.
Today...same thing....cloudy, went to the field....damp drizzle and 16 degs. Drizzle Drizzle....

Thanks for the reply. I checked the filler valve and clunk like you suggested. Don't see any visible problems and is set up the same way on my other planes.

Exhaust Deflectors for 4-stroke Advise

I have a Saito FA 56 with a deflector on the muffler....it stays on but the heat kinda gets to it and it bursts after about 12 flights or so.
I also have a Saito FA 100 with exhaust deflector...

I can't seem to find in the manual the purpose of the right and left levers on the Tx. Can anyone help me here?
