dont get a k&nno matter how good they look they are not made right for rc. they are great for anything fullsize but for rc they arent good because the fibers are tighty knitted together and allow fin...

you can get them from ofna since they have a 1/8 street car based on their off-road buggies. i have set so i can check and make sure my car is running good in front of my house before i go to race.

if you want a really good racer i would stay away from a rtr you will have to replace to many things to get it to be able to compete if you want to be really competetive.

for that much money its between the mugen mbx5 or the kyosho kanai3 (not sure if its on U.S shores yet but if yout lhs carries kyosho id wait for the k3) check which one your hobby shop carries parts...

there is no way to completly waterproof your electronics.
most people would not want to run the chance of ruining an expensive servo just to have 10 minutes of fun in the snow.
