Bad points.
- it adds extra weight and complexity.
- it is hard to setup since it detects horizon with heat signature you dont want too many trees around or...

I just bought a copy of Clearview, only $30 US and the guys have already done about 5 updates, so its getting better all the time.

It actually uses real photos...

I thought the 8 tooth would be the goer (due to the higher rpm of the brushless motor) but I need to find one for the 2.3mm shaft.. Ok let me look around. The hard bit is going to be getting the old...

Thats a very difficult thing to do. The trick I found is to always keep moving forwards. Even if you move very slowly, that way your mind can orient itself in the pilots seat just as if you were...

They will only blow if they get too hot.. I charged a li-ion on a nicad setting by accidend and she blew. The li-ion has a tin case and it went off like a bomb. The 3 cells were scattered all around...

Sounds like I would be wasting my money then ???. Unfortunately the thunderpower you recommended wont fit and is expensive. The zoom can fit 31mm x 36mm x 90mm. I have heard kokams drop power off...

I replaced mine with piano wire. As for the rest... just keep adding Zap (super glue) and kicker (accelerator). Usually lasts at least one good crash. In the end my chopper looked liked one big blob...

I have a dolphin/zoom/shogun v1. It can no longer stay in a hover due to lack of power. I have tried several batteries and pitch curves with no luck so I suspect my motor has died..

Wow, thats a lot of modding... Obviously you guys do some serious flying (or crashing). I still have yet to strip my original input gear, however I am still only at the slow circuit stage...

I have been using the bevel gears for around 3 months or more now without any problems...
Save your money and go for better blades.

Great, now I recharged the lipo and cant even get off the ground with it. I would definitely have to say the my charger is the problem ?? Hopefully the batteries are recoverable with a good charger....

What kind of current drain would you estimate at full throttle for a stock zoom.. Around 8 amps ??
