RE: ]ยง[ Official Team VTX ST1 Thread ]ยง[

Nice Mods. I drilled out the linkage as well and it's super smooth. Did not have to bend the throttle linkage.

Giddyuperic - Just curious. What's the blue/yellow/red wires that go behind...

RE: ]ยง[ Official Team VTX ST1 Thread ]ยง[

Cannot say for sure if it was the servos or the carb sticking. I had planned on replacing the servos eventually. I think the carb may have gotten stuck and the servo did not have enough torque to...

RE: ]ยง[ Official Team VTX ST1 Thread ]ยง[

I had a problem with the carb sticking wide open at full throttle. Truggy flew off the track an into the fence. I blew out the carb with my air compressor and put some after run oil in. Has...

RE: ]ยง[ Official Team VTX ST1 Thread ]ยง[

giddyuperic - Follow the set up from the Nats truck on teamvtx.com. Really helps with the handling. I have had mine out to the track 3 times now and am having a problem with what seems to be too...

RE: ]ยง[ Official Team VTX ST1 Thread ]ยง[

Update - Made a few adjustments and took my VTX-S1 back out to the track. About 3 minutes into my run the throttle stuck wide open and the truck flew off the track and into the fence. Broke the...

RE: ]ยง[ Official Team VTX ST1 Thread ]ยง[

Finally got the VTX ST-1 out to the track today. Basic stock with upgraded 6v receiver pack and adjusted the toe in and camber based on the info on TeamVTX.com. Truggy handled better than I...

Justaddwata:

Here are a couple of pics. You may recognize this boat. You helped me with some questions a while ago. Haven't run her in awhile. Been busy flying.

RE: newb question. Water pump install

Thanks. Can you tap on any side of the plastic block? I read somewhere that you should tap the bottom. Also, it sounds like I would need to remove the current water pump, seal the hole and install...

RE: ]ยง[ Official Team VTX ST1 Thread ]ยง[

Update:

Installed a 5-cell hump pack and switch with y harness last night. Extremely tight fit due to the larger JR 135 receiver. May look for a Novak XXL on ebay.

Heat cycled the engine...

RE: ]ยง[ Official Team VTX ST1 Thread ]ยง[

We've ran one tank through the engine so far. Fired right up with no problems. Kept a fan over the head to keep it cool. Raytek temp gun took a dump on me so I had to order another. Will wait...

RE: ]ยง[ Official Team VTX ST1 Thread ]ยง[

Body came completely pre-cut with all holes including antenna and window cut out. Steering servo seems like it has some good torque and that's only on the four duracell batts. Should be well...

Very impressive Truggy. Looks rock solid. Let's see if these pics load.

Only real issue is which 6.0V ni-mh pack will fit in the receiver/battery box with my JR receiver. 4 cell pack is a...
