RE: HET Me-262

G'day Okinchi
I have just completed the build on my HET ME262. This model has electric retracts which work very well but I think they will not stand up to any sort of hard landing as they are for...

G'day Guys

RE: Top Flite FW 190 D9 Equipment

G'day FMongrain
You will definitely need thin wheels. I had trouble hiding the the Williams Bros wheels. Once attached to the struts, the strut pertruded slightly below the bottom wing skin. With...

RE: great planes phantom

G'day Bill
You have made an excellent engine choice with the ST 90. Tons of power, robust construction and value for money. I pesonally own 3. A 60 and 2 x 75's. Each have been reliable easy...

RE: great planes phantom

G'day FrankRC1
These models are very scarce and hard to get at the moment. If you want one, Ebay is probably your best bet. Its a shame that this model is discontinued, as it was a very nice model...

RE: p51d mustang ebay

G'day Jester
The retracts I put into the P51 I purchased at a swap meet. I thought they were Hobbico's, but as you suggested, they might not be. Check the pics and ID them. They fit perfectly into...

RE: p51d mustang ebay

G'day $n4IL
I am not sure what the hanger9 retracts look like. I changed mine with the 60 size hobbico retracts. They fitted straight in with no mods required. I picked them up from a swap meet for...

RE: great planes phantom

G'day Bill
I was going to build the same kit a while ago and planned to power it with either a OS91FX or a ST-G90. I think either choice would be OK. Both motors would have vertical performance and...

RE: p51d mustang ebay

G'day $n4IL
The GMS 76 sounds great for a cheapie. I couldnt go past the ST75 for $110 bucks. I speared my model under full power into the deck and dug the motor out from 1 foot underground. The...

RE: p51d mustang ebay

G'day
I purchased one 4 months ago:
http://www.raidentech.com/pmuarfnirare.html
The website says it is ready to fly in 3 to 5 hours (that must be some sort of joke). More like 20hrs.
The...

RE: Top Flite FW 190 D9 Equipment

Hi Scavok
I would definitely go for at least a 91FX for this kit. A 61 would not cut the cake. As you would have read in this thread, the tail is heavy and requires carefull attention to building...
