We run a SPC 2s 5000mah 25c Lipo in my son's ECX Boost. It works great and the run time is incredible. I believe the battery was about $29.

Lipo will not cause the motor to burn out any quicker than Nimh. Nimh will be hot after you run it, Lipo will not. Nimh is a dying technology in RC for a reason.

We get about 45 minutes or more out of 1 SPC 2s 5000mah lipo. The speed is about the same as a nimh stick pack, but the battery is lighter and has about the same power until it hits low voltage...

The only broken part so far is a front shock. I was doing some high speed slides in the parking lot with my Rustler and my son was trying to follow. He hit a curb at full throttle and the bottom...

We run a 2s 5000mah lipo in my son's Boost. Run time is incredible. He gets about an hour out of it before lvd.

My 7yr old son has an ECX Boost. It is very durable and quick for brushed. Perfect for a starter rc.
