Most that fly this model start with the CG too far forward. Just trying to save you some trimming efforts. Your CG is fine where it is.

Greg - don't be afraid to play with the CG, it's very tolerant of an aft CG. If you're using the recommended CG in the book, it's too far forward. If I remember correctly, mine is behind the main...

I flew my 'Truder for a couple of seasons with a Saito 91. It's a good match to the airframe. It's too bad the covering isn't quite as good. I'll admit though, I have a couple hundred flights on it!...

Did you save any of the scrap pieces when you made the opening for the cylinder? You could use it as a test piece for paint compatibility.

Greg - Nice looking 'Truder you got there! One suggestion though, seal the front of the canopy with some pinstriping tape. The airflow will sooner or later rip the canopy off. Don't ask how I know....
