Yep, it was the single barrel.
I really like how this engine runs... Only now I have to add nose weight to my old bipe, as it had a Ryobi 31 on it! I need a 24 ounce heavy hub... :)

The carb block from the Zenoah G23 fits, although you have to elongate the pulse "channel".
I used the one that Horizon sells that rotates the carb for a straight shot pushrod.

One other thing..
It always starts on the second flip, never the first.
This may indicate a CDI unit with logic.

I just spent most of the day messing with the single and two barrel versions, with some interesting results.
First, the single barrel:

At this point, I have to say that these engines are up to par, quality wise, with the Zenoah
engines. The castings are...
