I'm using a 2 1/2" standard shape Tru-Turn anodized red with the slots custom cut to fit the APC 17X6.

Congratulations on your success,

It looks like you're getting about 10% more power than predicted with the FlightPower 20C batteries. I assume it's because you're using 25C batteries instead,...

I don't recall having any issue with the OS 120 AX. Any offbalance due to the motor wasn't enough to affect the balance of the plane.

Yeah!

I'm interesting in learning about landing gear updates too, and if there is no update, I'd be interested to know if there's a third party landing gear available that will fit the 69" Yak....

It probably depends on what kind of flying you want to do. 3D & precision flying are both easier with planes that have high power to weight ratios, & low wing loadings.
