Look at the picture you posted of the mount. The top mounting hole on the hot-racing mount is not centered, here is a side profile mock-up.

Nice to see HPI finally released an alloy motor mount. The first thing i bought for my e10 was the hot-racing aluminium motor mount, imo is an essential item otherwise the gear mesh just isnt right...

That link doesnt say anything about motor limit, so i would stay away from it.

The stock e10 esc can handle 21-27 turn motors (and in my opinion you wouldnt want any faster than that in this car)....

Mine stock e10 also does this. I think like phmaximus mentioned, that the alloy shafts/cvs would improve it. Ive run mine for a little while now as is and it still drifts well, so im not sure it...
