My progress for this week is that i started on the main doors being cut out. Something most people dont realize is that there are three sets of doors per gear and they are all actuated mechanically...

Looking at the original date i started this thread, i cannot believe it was 2007. Flying the real Galaxy is the main reason for my non-progress. I hope to have mine flying by the end of next year...

The Jepe units look to be nice. I think they are a little on the expensive side. I originally planned on running 4-90 mm wemo Midi fans but i may go with Tamjets 100 mm's. They are quite a bit...

Haha, i keep it clean because it is usually months in between work sessions [:@] It's B.S but the Air Force has me flying 70 out of 90 days recently (ever since i became an instructor)

Got my plans drawn up for the v-stab and all my ribs drawn (literally drawn on graph paper!!) They are all cut, just need to cut slots for the CF laminated spruce stringers and the holes for the 1/2...

Sam, the chuck glider is a great idea, was planning on using it as one of my cg-calculations when prepping it for flight (whenever that may be)[:@] A friend in AZ that made a scratchbuilt a-7 used...

Hey Ed!! I went with Bob Mellen at Flying Foam. He has great customer service...He is a bit busy, and it took about three weeks for him to get em done, but tht is understandable! Hope all is well...
