Have not been at home much lately.....so not much progress
Have been working on the insides, and getting the CG sorted out.
I have installed a 4 cell 3000 nimh rx batt, and my 1S2P 8000 lipo glow batt in the rear in the plane, and it is still a little nose heavy at about 11cm
But still within the 25-30% CG range rule.
Progress so far.....

yea i know.
Have not been home much lately.
I work and live on an airforce base.....but ill have 6 says off from today, so I hope the weather is good when I get back.
The model is over the 7kg limit here, so I have to find someone that can check and autherize the model beforer flight too.

What size are the tires? do not you think is better to change the original foam tires for the dubro low bounce?
Thanks

They are 90mm diameter, and 30mm wide.
I would have liked some larger ones, but you cant install larger wheels because they will touch the landing gear.
The included wheels are not very good. When the model sits on them for some time, they get flat spots on them realy easy.
I think they will be ok, but just not the best.
If I had a pair of Dubro`s lying around, I would deffinatly install them instead

Do you intend to use any spinner, what kind of style (hub, nut)?, what size?, and which is the internal measure of the ASP thread engine shaft?
Thanks

Very cool sound on the engine. I have to admit though, I've never run one inside my house! I think my wife would kill me lol.
Great looking plane!

Well, I hope thrursday will be the maiden day for the Gilmore.
Today the weather is great, but the guy that has to aprove the + 7kg model at my club cant be there.
Just need to put some shrink wrap or fuel tubing over all the control clevises, then charge the batteries and go
CG is about 12mm ahead of the reccomended, so it a little nose heavy.
