Hi Mopzilla
The latest information I have on the 700 is a tentative August release, dependent upon AMA approval. I don't have an exact price target at the moment, but I would say that the $1650 - $1750 price range would be pretty close. We hope to get a pre-production sample soon for evaluation. Stay tuned!

This isn't really in line with the purpose of this forum, but I'll answer anyway.
I don't see engine prices dropping any lower than US$1500 for a manufactured engine or kit. Although the engines are smaller and produce less thrust, there is still the same labour for assembly and testing as well as the cost of the ECUs and other ancillaries. I might be a pessimest, but I don't think they will go much lower.
