RE: Nexus?
Hi Shaun.
I know that the engine is almost ready for release. I'm wating for mine. Lars told me that they are waiting for the last few parts for the turbine. But it's a whole new set up of production tools, so it takes some time. The engine will put out some 36 lbs of thrust. The first engines should be out soon.

RE: Nexus?
Simjet Nexus is out already, but till now there is no one reviwe about this turbine yet. I 'm interested to know about this engine also. BTW, can this Nexus 3600 fit into a Yellow Aircraft F-18 Twin? Was worry that the engine might be too big to fit in.

RE: Nexus?
Hi X-Spec
Thank you for the interest in the Nexus 3600. The Nexus will fit easily within the Yellow Aircraft Twin F-18. It's the same outer diameter as the standard SimJet Engines.
As for a review, I'm not sure if there is one in the works through SimJet or not. I will let you know when one is scheduled.
Sincerely,
Ed

RE: Nexus?
Hi James
The 3600 Nexus comes standard with the SimJet FADEC ecu by Gaspar, Flightworks pump, gas and fuel valves, display terminal, on-board start tank set, tubing set, 2200 Mah LiPo battery, Graupner charger and mounting clamp. The only thing you would need to supply are a few fittings and the rest of the fuel system. For a little more detail, follow this link to our site:

RE: Nexus?
HI X-spec
I got my Nexus last summer. I installed it in my Euro. There's plenty of space around the turbine, as you can se from then pictures. right now I am building a Y/A F-18 Twin for a Nexus. I think it will be a good match.

RE: Nexus?
Hello Jameswilliam.
I will
I have 3 liters of fuel in my ES. Enough for 6-8 minutes depending on, how much power you use. I think I'm gonna go for 3,5 or maybe 4 liters in the F-18.

RE: Nexus?
Hello X-sepc
The NEXUS as available today, is rtaed at 36#. There has been no updates of any type to this engine. It is supplied with a 2200 LiPo battery, Graupner charger, unboard propane tank Data Terminal & Gaspar ECU, Hassel pump tubing and fittings, operation manual.
There has been a complete review of this engine in the current issue of RCJI mag. I highly suggest that you read this as it contains much insight on the design of this engine which sets it apart from its competitiors.
I have them in stock at this time for immediate delivery.
Please contact me directly if you wish to discuss in greater detail. [email protected]
Thank you for you interest in the NEXUS.
