If you are using the ev5u-pro multifunction valve or similar and you run out of air surely there is a leak somewhere in your connections or gear/door cylinders. Use this link as info provided by Todd of Dreamworks and helped me and a lot of other people solving similar problems..good luck...http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_99...tm.htm#9905381

If you have any blow by in your cylinders the valve will bleed the off that air.
Start by pinching off air lines one by one till leak stops. If they are leaking get yourself some BVM inline lube and shoot it into the cylinders...
Good luck, they are known for leaking.

My Feedback: (57)
I don't want to suggest you discard your air system, but from the dozens of threads I've read here on RCU on the FEJ F-16 gear....it really looks like converting them to electric is the consencus.
I have seen these retracts and most folks don't realize how massive they are, and how much air it takes to cycle them.
Whatever you do, if you dont feel happy or think you can trust the system not to have leaks, DONT FLY IT! I have repaired F-16s from belly landings more than I care for, so trust me avoid it at all cost.
Good luck!
David

if you decide to go electric talk to Mitch at http://www.downandlocked.com/before removing yours and ask him if they can do it for you.
