just got myself a cheap nitro rush. just needed a few things fixing and have done that and now its working sweet. thing is me and my mates are well into the car drifting scene so we wanna make our rushes real good drift machines.
so how do we do this.
they already do it quite well but how do i get it to do it really good?

im not sure if you can make the rush into a great drifter; ppl usually use electric on roaders for that. what you could do to make it drift a bit better is try to make it as close to a on roader as possible. i use v groove on road tires on the rear and on tarmac these have v poor grip: i can do mad burnouts usin them. get a good steering servo to help you control the truck better. i would also think ud have to make it as light as possible, so you might want to look into graphite upper decks.
again, i dont really think the rush'd make a good drifter but to attempt it try those things.

i believe you need stiff springs for drifting... I take my MT racer to the golf course and drift on the green because the grass is cut real low and its pretty damn slippery. I use proline road rage tires. People mount abs or pvc on their rims to drift but i wouldnt recommend it on a nitro because you will over rev the engine.

need 4-wheel drive for drifting huh? ... ummmm.. yeah..
Lower it (street tires in itself would do this), stiffen the suspension, and get anti-sway bars if available (i know they have them for the evader, not sure for the rush).
You might also want to consider getting a slide-carb.. you're going to want quick throttle response.
Its still going to be hard to do tho. You'd have an easier time of it in the dirt or wet pavement rather than a dry road.
