Hey guys, I just bought a Factory Team Glow Ignitor. The blue aluminum one with the indicator on the top. The stupid question is, how long do I charge it for? There are no directions or documentation of any kind with it. The charger it came with is a 150 mAh charger and I do not know how many mHa the battery is. Any ideas?
One more thing. I have heard that the indicator on the top is NOT a charge indicator. What is it then? Thanks!!

the indicator on the top has nothing to do with the power in the glow starter. I have the saw one of some kind of variation. if it is in the red area is mean you glow plug need to be changed if its in teh green its good and if its in the middle it it good to but will need changing soon. I realy like it becuase i used to change my plugs none stop.

The indicator on top is double duty it lets you know if the plug is dead or the glow lgniter is dead either way it will read red. If it reads red I always take a new glowplug and test it on my igniter if it doesnt glow orange I know the igniter is dead. Recharge and test again.

i know on mine, the indicator has nothing to do with the battery
it just shows you on a scale of how good your glow plug is lighting up... if it is low on the meter than you need a new glow plug.. if it does it with a new plug then you need to recharge.. i usually just charge it like sunday night when i go to bed, and dont get it till the monring or after school.

Ok guys I will make this real simple on the charging time. I also have the Factory Team Glow Ignitor and if yours
is the same as mine it came with a 3300mAh battery and the 150mAh charger. To get the proper charge time divide
the battery's capacity by the mAh rating of the charger. 3300/150= 22 hours for a full charge. I also found a 190mAh
charger laying around my tool box so this cut charging time down to a little over 17 hours. My son has a ignitor that has
a 1500mAh battery and with the 190mAh charger the battery is full at 7 1/2 hours. Simple math! By the way the meter
will show red as stated above in another thread if the glow plug is bad or the ignitor battery is dead. Hope this helps !!
