Why would you want to do that? You would then always have flaps down for take off also. In addition, you might want half flaps for take off, or even no flaps on a heavy crosswind landing.

I shoud have made it more clear. I would like to set a switch to deploy the landing gear and aproach / takeoff flaps and still have controll over more flaps with the flap lever. The 9303 dose this in reverse when you exceed a pre determined throttle setting (95%) the gear comes up and the flaps retract so why not the other way.

From what I have read, most pilots will tell you not to put the flaps on a lever, but rather on a 2 way or 3 way switch. Also think about a flame out, if that happens, you want the gear down but may not want any flaps in order to make it back to the field. I have a 9303, but am not sure I know how to do what you're asking.

Chip, I have a boomer and fly the 9303.
I use the three way switch located above the ail, elev stick. I always fly in flight modes (this allows me to switch dual rates, and other things as well). I have the switched also mixed so that the flaps can only be deployed when in flight mode normal (idle up normal). In flight mode 1, I have a little more control throw, and flaps are off. In FM2, I have even more control throw, flaps off.
If you send me your email, I can send you my settings so that you know how it is set up.
Honestly, I have found that I don't use the flaps much. I have a super bee in mine and it slows down nicely. However, I do have a tad of down mixed in mine for mid flap. When I first applied mid flap, the plane climbed on me. When I apply full flap, it noses down on me. Also, I have two washers under the front mounts on my turbine to give it some down thrust. This helped mine in any trim changes during throttle changes.

ok, here is what I have:
in dev. select: Flap is aux 2 switch. Trim off. Also, this is where you will turn your FM on. You don't have to, just my pref. Aux 2 (I have it set to Flap Lev) as I use this for my brakes.
Then go to list:
Flap system: Auto Land inh. Flap normal mine is at 87%, mid is D34%, land is D100%. over on the far right menu you will see FM if you have them setup. FM0: sw, FM1: normal, FM2: normal. This will shut the flaps off in the FM1 and 2.
I think that is it.
Again, I like the flight modes as I have it setup so that i don't have to sit there and keep flipping lots of diffrent switches for dual rates and stuff.
Also, I would not rec. auto land. The reason is on a windy day, you will have to come in under substantial power and it could get you into a stall or something. I like to be able to flip my flaps on and off without anything effecting them.
If you are still confused, shoot me your email address via PM or email and I can take some screen shots or even call you.

Thanks for the help. I have mine set up the normal way with the 3 pos. switch and the brakes on the aux 2 lever. It works well. I have not tried the autoland set up as of yet. The Babby Boomer is easy to fly and it slows down for the landings. I was thinking outside the box I guesss.

How much flap travel are you using? A friend uses almost 90 deg for landing, nothing for take off. We usually fly from grass but he uses it from a sealed strip as well - John.

I have my flap set on a 3 position switch for my Boomerang intro. I find that having 30% flap for take gives a very nice and smooth lift off in 30/40 meters. As for landing i use maximum throw (about 85 deg) on flap and when i flip it into position give simultanuously asome down stick to compensate, and you can hardly see the plane changing altitude, i just make oneround with full flaps out and come in for a very slow and rock solid landing on our rather short runway.
Applying brakes (just for fun) would make the boomerang stop in less then 50/60 meters.
Regards.

I have 90 degrees of flap on short final for the slowdown and 20 degrees for take off. The boomer flies nice with the wrenn ss but lands fast without the 90 degrees. I can hold the brakes and spool up at 20 degree and be in the air in less then 50 ft!!!!
