Sir, I did not look at the picture nor read the literature closely enough to notice that the HD BatShare only has one output rather than two! I was looking for the BatShare to give me equal battery draw from two RX batteries without voltage loss due to resistance in the smaller 22g wires of a normal BatShare. Do you make a HD BatShare with two outputs to go with the two inputs? Did I perhaps receive an incorrect one?
Thanks for your reply.

Hi Bobby,
The standard BatShare has two standard connectors in and two standard connectors out. This is because each input can handle 3 amps continuous, limited by the R/C connector. The two output connectors allow you to output 6 amps when both are used. The BatShareHD has one output becuase it consists of 18ga wire and a Deans Ultra plug. The output can really handle more than the inputs. We also make a BatShareUltra with 18ga wire and Deans Ultra plugs on both the input and output. We do not make any BatShares with multiple Deans outputs as they are not needed. Please let me know if I did not answer your question correctly.

Sir, I have a regular BatShare to which I could add Deans connectors. Would this be acceptable? With only one output on the HD BatShare I loose the dual battery capability as I currently have two swithes going into two regulators that go into the receiver but I don't get equal draw from the batteries. I may try the regular BatShare just to see how it does. What do you think?

Hi Bobby,
The BatShare has to go before the regulators, the regulators cannot go before the BatShare if this is what you are saying. If you want to run two batteries into two switches into a BatShare and then the output of the BatShare into two regulators and then into your receiver this will work but you will be getting work out of one regulator only. You will loose the advantage of getting more current with less voltage drop between the regulator and the receiver because you
will be running the current from both batteries through the single regulator's 22ga wire and connector. Maybe I still do not understand your setup. Please help me understand.

HI Bobby,
I am not sure which regulators you have, sorry. So, what you are doing is going from the BatShare two outputs into two regulators and into the receiver. What size plane is this?

Yes, it would be like this: switch to BatShare to 4800 mah Fromeco Peerless Li-ion battery to input of Fromeco regulator, output (6.0v) of regulator to receiver and repeated for the other side. The plane is a 35% Aeroworks Quick Build 260 with 7 8611a servos. Yes, I know I have way to much battery but I already have them and used them this past season! I know from measuring the battery voltage that one battery pretty much powers the plane - that's why the idea of a BatShare but my Fromecos have Deans connectors on them and the BatShares that I had were regular JR-type conn3ctors. On the next plane I will use 2400 mah Fromecos and I will use the SuperRegular/Power Expander that I purchased from you a couple of weeks ago. So, my original questions: will the regular BatShare work if I replace the JR connectors with appropriate Dans connectors, and can I return the HD BatShare for you to upgrade it to two HD/Deans connnector outputs?

Hi Bobby,
OK, I understand a bit better now. You can replace the JR connectors with the Deans connectors on the standard BatShare. You can return the BatShareHD for a refund or exchange but there is now way to put an extra output lead with Deans on the unit. The unit cannot accomodate the two extra 18ga wires going into it. The only thing I could suggest is that you solder another Deans with a short 18ga pigtail to the original Deans connector so you end up with two females. The 18ga wire comming out of the unit can handle the current of the two Deans. Let me know what you think.

Sir: can I return the HD BatShare in exchange for a regular BatShare with Deans connectors (that you could add for me at any additional cost, of course)?

Hi Bobby,
You want us to make you up a BatShare with two Deans? I think my other idea is better, to put two Deans females on the BatShareHD. This will give you less of a voltage drop than two Deans on 22ga wire.
