Default lubricating flex shaft

Hey guys I have a Atomik barbwire boat and my manual says to lube the flex shaft every 2 to 3 runs is that normal or should I do it every time?

Good morning Billy,

To be honest im not sure I am also new to this hobby and dont know if it is really necessary, but unfortunately I don't think you will get much help on this forum as people never seem to actually reply to anything posted. Strange for a forum usually there are lots of opinions going about.

Good luck though

Remove your flex after every days running and re lube the flex or you will regret it,its good practice to do this after each day so your flex can not only be cleaned and lubed but checked for any wear and tear. Some of us do reply .

Yeah Billy I was wondering the same thing when I read through the manual of the proboat shockwave 26 and was wondering how I would lube the shaft? and what that does

Pull flex every day after running to clean and don't lube or insert flex till it is time to go boating. Reason; rust will occur if you insert and don't go boating for some time.
